Prioritization

Today, I tried to be in two meetings at the once.

One on my phone and the other on my laptop. The hallmark of a lack of prioritization.

I did not get the best of both worlds, instead, it felt like I was missing out in both worlds.

I realized my error, re-prioritized, said a polite goodbye to one group, and immersed myself in the other.

It felt so much better for the last half hour of the meeting.

I am thankful for the gift of prioritization and its regret-limiting advantage.
