The first religion of every human is the family. Every other religion copies the ideals of the family, and adds some fanfare around it.
To raise balanced humans a foundation of family values is required.
For example, the value of respect is first learnt in the family. If you do not learn it in the family, every other place that tries to teach it provokes resistance. To understand that respect is to be given, independent of position, you first need to be exposed to the best in people at an early age.
Family is the unit of love. Nurture it.
