First impressions matter. Humans are still ruled by the amygdala, because it is critical to our survival as a species. Spot judgments occur, whether you like it or not. It is best to align your habits with your desired first impression.

Be prompt. Measure promptness by your speed of resolving issues at the bottom of the pyramid, not the top of the pyramid. Hierarchy ensures you will always prioritise the top. Character is defined by how you prioritise the bottom.

Expect more. People rise up or fall down to our expectations of them. People are at their best when they rise. Believe in your people. It is okay to be disappointed, but never give up on your people.
