Holy

Leviticus 19:1-2, 17-18
And the LORD said to Moses, “Say to all the congregation of the people of Israel, You shall be holy; for I the LORD your God am holy. “You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason with your neighbor, lest you bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance or bear any grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.

Homily:

What is holiness?

It is a simple word with complex dimensions. For the purpose of this homily, let us express holiness as wholeness or completeness. Requiring no external input for balance or internal modification for improvement.

Whole – Father, Son and Spirit.
Complete – Body, Soul and Spirit.

All acting as one.
All agreeing as one.

As a human, this completeness is only possible when the spirit leads.

How will you know whether your spirit leads?

Pay attention to the fruits you bring forth. The fruits of the spirit are unmistakable.
