If we are not careful while listening to media, we might assume that perfection is an anomaly that should be avoided. But the proponents of that thinking had a different intent. The intent was to stop people from using “perfect” as an excuse for not getting started.
It’s about separating perfection as a direction (valuable) from perfection as a requirement (paralyzing).
There is nothing wrong with perfect.
It is a good pull for excellence.
The point is: don’t stop because you’re not yet there, but don’t also aim for less.
This is the craftsmanship mindset.
