The world, A world

The world did not start when you were born.

The world will not end when you die.

A world started when you were born.

A world ends when you die.

The world is without end.

A world is within end.

The world transforms with or without you.

A world transforms with and within you.

To influence the world, own a world.

He lives

Colossians 3:1-4
If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
For you have died, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Homily:

He lives
Within and without, He lives
He has conquered death
Not to have a second death
But to bring a new life
Free from sin and strife
Set before us always is a new life and an old death
A choice between the things above and the things on earth
Between the permanent and the transient
What is to come and what is at its end
He is risen
Above and beyond sin
Rise above with Him
Choose the things that glorify Him

Responsibility

Parents cannot afford the luxury of dropping their guard with their babies. Just one slip and they will be scorned by the world, barely able to even live with themselves.

Do they slip? Yes, but they keep going.

CEOs cannot afford the luxury of bad days. They must come with their A-game everyday, because everyone is watching. Just one slip and they will be scorned by the world, barely able to even live with themselves.

Do they slip? Yes, but they keep going.

Priests cannot afford the luxury of sin. They must present themselves holy to man and God. Just one slip and they will be scorned by the world, barely able to even live with themselves.

Do they slip? Yes, but they keep going.

Those with the highest responsibilities, take the lowest risks, and get the highest reward.

It is irresponsible to risk everything, no matter the outcome.

Risk and reward are not proportional.
