Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to me shall not hunger, and he who believes in me shall never thirst.”

Homily:

Jesus used many relatable metaphors to pass on the simple yet profound message –

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” – John 14:6

He says it so many times in so many ways.

He is the sacrifice (For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. – John 3:16).

He is love made flesh (The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. – John 1:14).

Believe in Him (Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” – John 11:25-26)
