Thanksgiving

Psalms 116:12-17
What shall I render to the LORD for all his bounty to me?
I will lift up the cup of salvation and call on the name of the LORD,
I will pay my vows to the LORD in the presence of all his people.
Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.
O LORD, I am thy servant; I am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid. Thou hast loosed my bonds.
I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving and call on the name of the LORD.

Homily:

There is always something to be grateful for. Always.

There is always something to be ungrateful for. Always.

Which do you think will serve you?

Which do you think will victimise you?

Search life and see the difference between the people that are grateful and ungrateful.

Search your life and see the difference between the experiences you’re grateful for and the ones you’re ungrateful for.

Gratitude is not dependent on good or bad. It is a long term mindset. It is a choice. A choice that this circumstance is working for and not against me.

Offer the sacrifice of Thanksgiving to God in all things. For there are no rights in a life you did not create.
