The Ben Franklin Effect

Make it work for you.

If you hate someone for no reason. If your “gut” just tells you to be wary of the person. Try being kind to the person. Try going the extra mile, make a little sacrifice, pay a second look and “voila!”, you realise that the person is not so bad afterall.

If someone hates you for no reason and acts out the hate, try asking for the person’s support or help with something. If you are able to get the person to be kind to you, in no time, the person will find reasons to be more amiable. The change will astound you.

This is a powerful rewiring mechanism which you can use positively or negatively.
