As for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.

Homily:

I am as grateful to the people that gave me a platform to show who I am, as I am to those people that gave me a staircase to climb.

The staircase was hard, considering elevators were available, but it was my path to the platform.
