A reality

It is okay to feel sad following loss.
It is not okay to deny it. Acknowledge it.

It is okay to feel happy following victory.
It is not okay to deny it. Acknowledge it.

It is okay to feel angry following betrayal.
It is not okay to deny it. Acknowledge it.

It is okay to feel surprised at an unplanned event.
It is not okay to deny it. Acknowledge it.

It is okay to feel disgusted by an irritant.
It is not okay to deny it. Acknowledge it.

It is okay to feel anxious when things are uncertain.
It is not okay to deny it. Acknowledge it.

It is okay to feel.
It is not okay to deny. Acknowledge.

Who is the greatest?

Luke 9:46-48
And an argument arose among them as to which of them was the greatest.
But when Jesus perceived the thought of their hearts, he took a child and put him by his side, and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me; for he who is least among you all is the one who is great.”

Homily:

Those who have no time for arguments.

Those who have no time for entitlement.

Those who have no time for comparison.

Those who have no time for self-deceit.

Those who do the inconvenient work.

Those who are obedient to His word.

Those who show mercy.

Those who love God and neighbor.
