As a mentor to some pretty gifted people, I have gradually come to realise that I get more than I give, by deciding to share my time, ask questions and listen.
Most of my advice is just a transmission of approach from one gifted soul to another.
I sometimes wonder why these people need mentors, and then I realise that people grow by sharing.
As a mentor, I am a sharing platform, free of judgment, but full of questions.
