No boxes

For most people, no matter how far along they’ve gone in typing in their password, if they’re unsure of a character entered, they delete the whole password and re-type from scratch

For most people, if they enter their passwords wrongly once, due to keyboard deviations, for example caps lock mistakenly left on, they will almost always make the error again, before checking the keyboard for what could be wrong.

This is why it is naive to put people in boxes.

In the first scenario, the individual ignores sunk cost.
In the second scenario, the individual persists in sunk cost.

A prayer

Luke 19:41-44
And when he drew near and saw the city he wept over it, saying, “Would that even today you knew the things that make for peace! But now they are hid from your eyes.
For the days shall come upon you, when your enemies will cast up a bank about you and surround you, and hem you in on every side, and dash you to the ground, you and your children within you, and they will not leave one stone upon another in you; because you did not know the time of your visitation.”

Homily:

Dear God, I pray that in life, I acknowledge, accept, share and appreciate, the many graces, mercies, gifts and talents you have given to me.
