Rocky moments

Any relationship or institution that never has rocky moments, while sailing, is heading for the rocks.

Those who do not rock the boat, did not get on the boat.

We hold on firmly in rocky moments, if we want to remain on that boat. It helps us build muscle (strength of character).

This does not mean all moments should be rocky moments, that will be a sign that you’re on the rocks. What this means, is that rocky moments, are a feedback mechanism, that should trigger us to be more conscious and deliberate in words and action.

You

That which you chase, flees
That which you escape, chases
That which you nurture, grows
That which you sustain, dies
That which you gratify, blooms
That which you ignore, withers
That which you love, gives
That which you think, takes
That which you desire, cages
That which you discipline, frees
That which you are, be
That which you were, dismiss

Anything can be

Judith 13:19
Your hope will never depart from the hearts of men, as they remember the power of God.

Homily:

“Listen to the mustn’ts, child. Listen to the don’ts. Listen to the shouldn’ts, the impossibles, the won’ts. Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me… Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.” – Shel Silverstein
