Diet

People start wearing less as they get into better shape. Willingly or unwillingly, it just happens.

Maybe it is because as you get more comfortable with your body, there is less need to hide it.

Maybe it is because you quickly discover that more clothes become needless weight, especially when they get wet from sweating.

Maybe it is just a vanity metric, to show your work.

Adam and Eve never got into trouble working, but they did get into trouble eating. And they had to quickly cover themselves. This might not have a bearing to the need for less clothes as you get into shape, but it came to mind and this is my write up, so I can put whatever comes to my mind.

I think the same applies to the enlightened mind. There is less need for complexity, sophistication or dressing, as the mind takes shape. “What is” does not need to “become”.

Another thing with getting in shape is that almost everything and everyone becomes a mirror, showing you how you looked, how you look or how you want to look. You become more self conscious. As you get into better shape, you naturally also become more conscious of what you ingest. Remember Adam and Eve, their punishment for a poor diet was more work before they eat and more pain before they (pro)create.

When you understand this, you realise that to optimise your work versus output and minimise the resistance to creation, you must pay attention to your diet.

Your call

Luke 1:76-79
“And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways, to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness of their sins, through the tender mercy of our God, when the day shall dawn upon us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Homily:

We have all been called to prepare the way.

While most wait for another call, some see the work in front of them for what it is – their call.
