Light

To see yourself on any glass, you need more light on you, than on the other side of the glass.

The darkness on the other side helps to reflect back your image.

To see through the glass, you must improve the lighting at the other side.

In life, if all you desire is to see self, then make sure the light is always more on your side. If you desire to see others, then you must share the light with the other side.

Love

Colossians 3:12-21
Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, and patience, forbearing one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teach and admonish one another in all wisdom, and sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.

Homily:

Love brings balance.

As our egos continually scream, “Me! Me!! Me!!!”, love whispers back, “Be free! Be free!! Be free!!!”

“Me” is a cage, reinforced by entitlement. Entitlement breeds strife, dragging you into constant battles with all.

Love opens up space for gratitude. Gratitude breeds joy, leading you into deeper appreciation of all.
