The quantity of output by any great artist far outpaces the quality they are remembered for.
While quality is thought to be their secret recipe, quantity actually is.
Little improvements made as they consistently ship out their work, compounds into greatness. Most of that quantity is below the surface, and we get drawn to the spikes of brilliance which actually rest on broad volumes of underlying work.
The interesting thing is that for long periods, “nothing” seems to come out of the consistency of shipping. This “nothing” acts as a sieve, with many impostors falling away. And then, “suddenly”, everything just seems to click. All the dots connect to form a beautiful pattern.
Quantity does not guarantee success, especially when there is no conscious effort to continually improve execution, but it is the single biggest contributor to improving the probability of success.

I draw the curtain on my 2019 Theme – Proactivity, Dependability and Dedication, today.
It was a year of growth for me, spiritually, mentally, physically and habitually.
Unlike previous end year posts, I will not be sharing the books I read, the blogs I follow or the learnings from both. This is because I now share my major weekly insights from others, under the header – “Let It Be Beautiful”. This will continue in 2020.
I completed 2 major online learning programs –
I have decided that I will improve on this process next year, by engaging in one intensive e-learning course every quarter.
I also started daily “Meditations” on bible passages I wake up to. It has helped me better understand my God, my self, my neighbor and my faith. This will continue in 2020.
A new header will be launched in 2020 titled “A Second Look”. It will be focussed on videos of me speaking directly to you on the things I value. It will serve 2 aims –
I also have another surprise launch planned for 2020, but you will have to wait for the announcement when my work is complete.
My 2020 Theme will be “Gratitude“.
Yes, just one word. A break away from my usual 3-word themes.
Gratitude is a trigger for joy and I will fully live it in 2020.
Please join me on the journey.
With joy,

John 1:1-5
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God; all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.
In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
Homily:
The Word lives in me. The Word lives in you.
The darkness you see is a choice you made, to turn away from the Word and focus on the world.
Turn back to the Word. Obey His call. Walk His narrow path. And His light will shine through you, overcoming all the darkness of the world.
