“Goodhart’s law: When a measure becomes a target, it stops being a good measure.”
Day: January 12, 2020
Adaptability
Finding utility in the things that life brings your way, is important to adaptability, which is more valuable than planning, when starting something new.
Return line
If you draw a line in one direction and have to retrace that line in the opposite direction, your return line will not perfectly fit into your first line.
When we go back on memory lane, we never remember the journey for all it was. There will be inconsistencies. Remember that, when you listen to any story.

A just God
Acts 10:34-35
And Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I perceive that God shows no partiality, but in every nation any one who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.
Homily:
Yet we all try to act as judge over those of another religion, tribe, denomination, nation or race.
If they do not look or talk like us, then surely they cannot be of our God.
We do not even know our whole story, yet we pass judgment over others on the premise that we know their whole story.
While we spend time judging, we stack up the case against ourselves.
God is just. He knows the whole story.
It will serve us well to pay attention to our relationship with Him and let our lives reflect His grace.
