Every child gets excited at being told he or she is growing really fast. Their parents do too.
And then that child gets to an age where growth in height stops.
It takes a little while to admit that this height will be your defining height till death do you part. It is at this point being called tall or short is not a perspective, but a fact.
Most people then go through the five stages of grief – denial, anger, bargaining, depression and finally, acceptance.
The earlier you arrive at acceptance the better. Only after acceptance, can you start makng the right choices for your height range, including clothing sizes, car sizes, partner specs and sport choices. (I am writing this while rolling in laughter, so pardon me).
Yesterday, I met a friend that kept asking if we still had any chance of growing in height. I told him yes, that’s what high heels are for.
The truth is that in some parts of life, we grow to a level and stop. We have to accept that level, whatever it turns out to be, and find the utility in it, in order to gain the ability to explore other areas of our lives, that waited patiently for us to max out the previous focal point of our life.

Mark 1:40-42
And a leper came to him beseeching him, and kneeling said to him, “If you will, you can make me clean.” Moved with pity, he stretched out his hand and touched him, and said to him, “I will; be clean.” And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was made clean.

His will is to heal, if you seek.
