Change which always represents a loss of some kind, must be treated with care, as it takes away something sacred to many and replaces it with uncertainty.
Change management is loss management. Knowing this and remembering that people are fundamentally loss averse, helps you empathise while leading change.
For every change, there is no promise that the new will be better than the old, there is only an expectation that whatever may come, we will be better prepared if we are in motion, than if we are stationary.
Change management is therefore a process of moving people from loss aversion to loss reframing. And that is what leaders of change management do – “Continual reframing”.

Psalm 81:9
There shall be no strange god among you; you shall not bow down to a foreign god.
Homily:
You only make sacrifices for and to the things you hold sacred.
The strange and foreign gods of our day do not require animal or human blood sacrifices. They now demand our time, space, energy and direction.
Search your day and identify your gods, using your time, space, energy and direction allocation.
