Feedback

You are 40 years old. You are no longer asking for feedback because you want to know who you are. You already know that.

You are asking for feedback to see if your mask is shielding you well.

These days when grown adults come to me for advice, I offer just one – whatever is making you feel vulnerable right now, is an opportunity for growth, not an opportunity for a more colourful mask.

The gap in leadership is not the inadequacy of feedback, but the abundance of masks.

What is the overarching theme of all you have been told and know to be true? What little thing can you consistently do to reshape it? Do it.

Signs and wonders

Mark 8:11-13
The Pharisees came and began to argue with him, seeking from him a sign from heaven, to test him. And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly, I say to you, no sign shall be given to this generation.” And he left them, and getting into the boat again he departed to the other side.

Homily:

Many run around seeking signs and wonders in yonder, when there are signs and wonders within.

Be still and commune with your Creator. He will direct you to that which is within, built to handle what is without.

The thing you are seeking at the ends of the earth are at the core of your being.
