The path

We drift so far away from who we say we are, that all we remember about who we are, is who we say we are.

Our actions stand as witnesses against us, leaving us feeling betrayed.

The one person that should be on our side is distant. We have become strangers to ourselves.

The way to return to the path is not to go back to the start. The start is but a distorted memory. The way to return to the path is to start where you are and walk towards harmony in thoughts, words and actions.

The walk will not be an easy one, for it is easier to stay on the path than to return to it. But remember each step. Someone might need tales of your journey someday, to find their way. And just maybe, your meandering will have a purpose.

If you make it back to the path…..when you make it back to the path, give thanks and be one with it.

War

James 4:1-3
What causes wars, and what causes fightings among you? Is it not your passions that are at war in your members? You desire and do not have; so you kill. And you covet and cannot obtain; so you fight and wage war. You do not have, because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.

Resolve the conflict within and there will be none without.
