Share or hide

When someone does something profoundly good to you, you are more likely to share it.
It brings growth in you that cannot be contained.
This is why any person that nurtures the strengths of others gets lifted up.

When someone does something profoundly bad to you, you are more likely to hide it.
It breaks your core in ways that cannot be explained.
This is why a person that has suffered (and is sometimes still suffering) abuse stays silent.

Mood

On every single day, we are either making a first impression or a lasting impression on those that cross our path.

What impression do you want to leave?

It depends on the part of you that shows up predominantly. It depends on your prevailing mood.

The good thing is that you can choose the parts of you that show up and your prevailing mood.
You always have that power.

The first impression and the lasting impression we leave on people are not as random as we think, it is quite modal in nature. The mood you allow to come through most frequently designs the impression you leave most frequently.

Choose a mood that nurtures possibilities.

Love

Matthew 22:34-40
But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sad’ducees, they came together. And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, to test him. “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.”

Homily:

Love God, Love self, Love neighbor.

This is the beginning and the end of all that matters – Love.
