When something feels off, it is.
If your heart skips a beat, beat it.
When something rubs you the wrong way, don’t dismiss.
If your steps become measured, measure it.

Psalms 16:1-2, 5-8, 11
Preserve me, O God, for in thee I take refuge. I say to the LORD, “Thou art my Lord; I have no good apart from thee.” The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; thou holdest my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. I bless the LORD who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. I keep the LORD always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Thou dost show me the path of life; in thy presence there is fulness of joy, in thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.
Homily:
When you are close to God, you know.
When you are unsure with God, you know.
When you are distant from God, you know.
Your interpretation of events follow your relationship with God.
Those who are close see Him in everything.
Those who are unsure are double-minded about everything.
Those who are distant flee from everything.
The above psalm is an affirmation of one who is close.
