When trust is broken, all is lost.
When trust is nurtured, all is gained.
I know loss and I own gain.
Luckily, you instinctively know when trust is broken, and even though restoration is difficult, it is possible. The difficulty is part of the learning required to restore it.
Whatever you do, nurture trust.

Luke 11:9 – 11
And I tell you, Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For every one who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
Homily:
The above passage always challenges me to think deeply about my circumstances and my choices.
Does it mean all that is real in my life was either asked for or sought after, knowingly or unknowingly, by me?
It is difficult to fully own all my circumstances and choices, especially the downers. It is easier to curse my luck or question our faith. But the difficult things build an easier life.
