When someone says they are feeling unwell, believe them, and act on it. Get help for them.
For example, I have heard too many tales of someone complaining about a headache, going to bed and never waking again. A headache is a symptom. A sign. Our body’s way of saying, please get help now. Act on it.
Do not ignore the signs life offers. It might be too late to change direction, but it will improve your decision making as you move forward.

Skin in the game
1 Corinthians 9:19, 22 – 23
For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a slave to all, that I might win the more. To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
Homily:
Without skin in the game, your opinion is only an ego boost, lacking in empathy.
The word became flesh in order to save it, not condemn it.
