Roles

Roles in society are important, yet, they are not to be assigned but embraced.

The growing agitation by different groups in the world is not against roles, but against assignment.

We need a homemaker and someone has to play that role, but assigning it by default to a gender is not just disingenuous, it is malicious.

We need a breadwinner and someone has to play that role, but assigning it by default to a gender is not just disingenuous, it is malicious.

People see through the assignation of roles and resist it. Often, it is misinterpreted as a resistance to the role, when it is merely a resistance to the limitation assignment brings.

One person can embrace more than one role and be effective. A breadwinner can also be a homemaker.

As long as society forces compartmentalization, humans will continue to resist being caged.

Society has to move away from the order of filter and assign.

Every role in society can be met by creating an environment where people can choose and embrace.

Thy steadfast love

Psalm 89:1-2
I will sing of thy steadfast love, O LORD, for ever; with my mouth I will proclaim thy faithfulness to all generations. For thy steadfast love was established for ever, thy faithfulness is firm as the heavens.

Homily:

My life is a testament to Your love.
All that I am, is borne out of all that You give.
My life is a gift of love.
All that I am, I give.
