Today, I decided to prioritise my peace of mind over the spillover noise from the week.
It was not easy to follow through on, but in hindsight, it saved me from many embarrassing situations that would have haunted my weekend.
A colleague gave me an update on something he had not physically confirmed. Typically, I would have shared that information with other stakeholders, but I was in no particular hurry today. An hour later, he called to apologise for the wrong information and provided the actual status of of things. He expected a reaction, but got none. I just thanked him and returned to serenity.
I am thankful for the stillness of mind I prioritised today. I am going to bed, light.

What will others think or say?
This is the root of all evil.
The evil we endure, and the evil we ensure, comes from the same source. Consciousness of the perception of others.
A child who is unaware of the perception of others lives free. As conditioning around perception is started by society, manipulation of perception becomes prioritised, and evil takes root. Even the things that were previously sincerely done, become tainted by motive.
You cannot ignore the perception of others in any society. It is how societies keep everyone in line. Some cultures call it law.
You can prioritise the untainted expression of self. Keeping it as a prism for your choices and tradeoffs. A continual process of returning to the freedom of your childhood.
