Today, I hit 10% completion on my new 250-page book project.
I set a target of 5 pages every weekend for 50 weeks, with the last 2 weeks set aside for editing.
I have been disciplined with that commitment so far, with a little extra.
I have enjoyed this process more than I thought I would, and I have used it to explore previously unknown parts of me.
I am thankful for new projects, and the small steps that help us grow through them.

Cue 109 – Stop Preparing For The Last Disaster
Stop Preparing For The Last Disaster
“Preparing for the last disaster leaves us just as underprepared for the next one.” – Shane Parrish
Customer care
Number of customer care calls is inversely proportional to customer care.
If the number of calls are rising, customer care is actually declining. If the number of calls are declining, customer care is actually improving.
The real customer care is delivering products 100% on time and in full. Ensuring that people do not need to call customer care in the first place.
If people need to call to get an explanation on the gap between your promise and your product, a redesign of your internal process or your promise is required.
Imagine if you had to call customer care for every product you use. That will be torturous.
Design your company to ensure the customer has one less reason to call customer care.
