Will

Today, I woke up at about midnight and could not go back to bed.

I decided to do some app hopping on platforms I have not visited for a while. Bad idea. I should have just gone back to bed and stayed still until sleep revisited.

I did not know how time just flew by, and it was 05:00 am by the time I rechecked the time. A lot of time is truly wasted on social media.

The only reason I even checked the time was because sleep seemed to be coming back to meet me in bed. I had to get up and leave it there. I know it too well. That 05:00 am sleep would have left me totally drained and unproductive for the rest of the day.

No more midnight app hopping for me.

I am thankful for the will to avoid snoozing. It gave me the needed boost to get things done today. But I have to meet sleep early tonight, and make up for lost time.

Aggregation

If you pay attention to the day-to-day living of humans, they are hard to distinguish.

If you pay attention to their year-on-year living, the differences in their day-to-day become obvious.

The small unnoticeable differences in day-to-day choices, aggregate into significant differences with time.

When you draw close to those you admire, you find they are just as flawed.

When you keep your distance, their aura is restored.

A painting is made up of random chaotic brush strokes that aggregate into a beautiful story, with the right distance.

Aggregation is a powerful differentiator and accelerator.

It is how history is told.

It is how books are written.

It is how the future is built.

It is how communities are formed.
