Today, I decided to draw the line.
I do not know whether the line will foster connection or create a fissure, but it is long overdue.
It is instructive how people behave when you share your boundaries. Some respect it, others attack you. Whatever the case, be thankful for the opportunity to see behind the veil.
There is no space without boundaries. There is no matter without space. You define your space, and then your space shapes you.
I am thankful for the privilege of drawing the line in various aspects of my life.

Hi
Ants are always in a hurry.
But no matter how busy they get, when two ants rushing in opposite directions meet each other, they stop for a brief moment to say hi, before moving on.
Most times, when I am in a rush, I never stop to say hi. Where I’m headed is what remains front and center, and not the people that walk by.
People understand, when they observe my brisk walk, but a quick “hi” does not take any time, yet it can make someone’s day.
I decided today to acknowledge anyone on my path, no matter how urgent the end is.
