Platforms

Today, I almost got bogged down by a need for perfection in a report I was working on.

The report had been ready four days earlier, but I saw one I did 7 years ago and I preferred the approach.

The rework on turning the current report into the format of the old one was tedious. I was about to procrastinate, until I googled a way to accelerate the reformatting process.

Someone on YouTube had gone through the exact process and shared his hack for free.

I applied same and now I’m free.

The solutions exist, if you take the time to look.

I am thankful for platforms that provide a mic for anyone that has something to share. It might not matter in the moment, but it will have its moment.

Cue 122 – This holiday season, we can all learn a lesson from Beethoven

This holiday season, we can all learn a lesson from Beethoven

“In the last decade of Beethoven’s life (he died at 56), his deafness was complete, so music could reside only in his imagination. That meant the end of his compositional career, right? Wrong, of course. During that period, Beethoven wrote the music that would define his unique style, change music permanently and give him a legacy as one of the greatest composers of all time.” – Arthur C. Brooks

My Country

Being silent in the face of the trajectory of our country is complicit.

No matter your side of the divide, there is a divide.

How long do you think the center will hold?

If there is still a center.
