Tune out

Today, I took a break from all emails.

I have long noticed that I spend more of my time attending to emails than on any social media platform. An email can steal your sleep, your week, and even your weekend.

While I declutter apps that serve as distractions, my emails have continued to burgeon out of control.

My new decluttering goal is to start politely excluding myself from generic mailing lists that provide no insight on what matters to me.

I am thankful for the privilege of being able to tune out noise and tune up signal.

Chance occurrences

You never know what part of your conversation is planted as a seed in other people.

You never know which of your actions has a ripple effect in society.

You never know the experience that would shape your entire being.

Most of your impact in the world comes from chance occurrences.
