Today, I gave thought to the various phases in life.

I have observed three phases that keep going in cycles – trusting, questioning, understanding.

We start off trusting, progress into questioning, and ultimately arrive at understanding.

We start by trusting. All that is offered is accepted hook, line and sinker.
Then we start questioning everything. No answers seem adequate. The great rebellion. For some, this phase goes by silently, for others it is quite rocky.
Finally, we arrive at understanding. We reconcile with everything.

The cycle starts again.

I am thankful for my guardians, and their patience through each of my phases.
