Strength

Today, I had one of those “you will make up for it later” moments.

Nothing in me wanted to write. I just felt like resting. Writing one word felt like quite a big deal.

Luckily, I have been here before, and I know the feeling all too well. I would feel better tomorrow if I stayed true to my commitment. No amount of rest would make up for the down feeling of skipping on my commitment.

So here goes. Consistency is the hardest job you will ever undertake, yet it is the most rewarding.

Commit to what serves you and hold yourself accountable. This the foundation of self-respect.

I am thankful for the strength to keep going, even when everything around me tries to justify procrastination.

Waste

In any ecosystem, one participant’s output is another participant’s input.

The quality of any ecosystem is dependent on the quality of output. Output determines whether you’re in a vicious or virtuous cycle.

Output of any participant can be classified into desirable or undesirable.

To improve the quality of any ecosystem, pay attention to the undesirable output. It is a better indicator of progress than the desirable.

Whether in business, politics, religion or life, our waste (undesirable output) determines the trajectory of our being and that of our ecosystem, than anyother thing that comes into view.

The smartest leaders understand that they are waste managers, continually working to eliminate waste.
