Today, I had an interesting one-on-one with an enterprising young leader.
When people share stories from their journey, you can tell what parts were the peaks (victories), valleys (losses), slopes (struggles), and plains (uncertainties). Their body language and tone mirrors each phase, even when they try to deliberately pick their words.
You cannot truly listen to another’s story and not respect them. People walk around with more than anyone else can imagine.
I am thankful for those who trust me enough to share their vulnerabilities.
