Years of meaning

Today, I am happy without cause.

I just feel peace in my heart. A peace I once knew, but had long forgotten.

It was a crazy day of activities, including a media parley, but it was also a day I finally reconciled with the truth in an aspect of my life.

I am thankful for days like this. They start years of meaning.

Clarity

When you are not clear about what you want, your mind drifts like a kite without a taut string.

I have learnt this the hard way.

Whether it is in sticking to projects that no longer bring any value, or relationships that drain you, not being clear about what you want creates a thick murk that is hard to see through.

Sunk cost ensures we stick longer to things we should let go of than things we should not let up on.

I always wondered why some of my favorite drama series ever had a final season. They seemed like they could go on forever. The creatives managing them understood the value in stopping just before the ovation is loudest.

No one really knows when the ovation will be loudest, it’s better to stop when the cheers have become a distraction from the work required.
