Today, I bought an emergency gift.
Just like we are advised to have emergency funds for the rainy day, emergency gifts for days you forget special dates are just as important.
I learnt it from a mentor who is notorious for not remembering any important dates, including his birthday.
I am thankful for emergency gifts. They have saved me from otherwise impossible situations.
I like the concept of a bucket list. I don’t have one, but I think it is a great way to bring wishes to reality.
It harnesses the power of wonder, writing and experimentation. The only thing it lacks is a timeline, but that has never been a limitation. Crossing off items from the list is the high, not the time it is crossed. It is one of the few activities humans designed where we are free of time.
I am starting off a bucket list. I want a little more wonder and experimentation in my life. I want to be free of the limits of time. I will share it here someday.
