Today, I was perusing through pending emails when I read a line that made me take a second look.

“No man is perfect, but every man can be honest.”

Imperfection is not a limitation, but waiting for perfection is a limitation.

It is fascinating how a random line brings you into the present, and then takes you on a journey.

I am thankful for the gift of words.

Privilege

When offering advice, it is important to remember you are either speaking with the privilege of hindsight or the privilege of experience.

The privilege of hindsight is knowing what does not work.

The privilege of experience is living through what does not work.

The person you are engaging most likely lacks both privileges.

Be benevolent.
