Ability to choose

Today, I started a new practice at work.

If after 15 minutes I do not find any value I am adding or getting from a meeting, I politely leave. It is the respectable thing to do.

Instead of looking available digitally, yet unavailable physically, just disconnect and be fully present with what is important in the moment.

I am thankful for the ability to choose and follow through.

Avoid

If you have to look around and lower your tone before saying something, maybe you shouldn’t be saying it in the first place.

If you can only go to a place disguised and in the dead of the night, maybe you shouldn’t be there in the first place.

Whatever you have to change form to do, should not be in your agenda.
