Today, I hosted a colleague’s family to lunch.

I laughed more today than I have in the past one month. It is interesting how family members interprete what we do at work, and even more interesting what people tell their families about colleagues.

I could tell my colleague was a little embarrassed, but I tried my best to make him comfortable.

After today, I plan to meet more families.

I am thankful for the support system families provide to people.
