Newsletters

Today, I stumbled upon a quote on the the 3-2-1 Thursday Newsletter by James Clear.

It is a quote by a Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi on how to approach life:

“To the most trivial actions, attach the devotion and mindfulness of a hundred monks. To matters of life and death, attach a sense of humor.”

I have found this to be true about the most phenomenal people I have met or worked with – They sweat the small stuff and are surprisingly calm in a storm.

Until I read the quote, this observation was not in my consciousness.

I am thankful for the Newsletters I subscribe to. They open the window to let the light in.

Keep going

Those who change the world are ignored before the change is effected.

Being ignored turns out to be a blessing, because they are not distracted by applause before the work is complete.

Stop being frustrated when the work you are doing is not yet recognised. If you believe in it, stick to it. Applause is always better at the end.

Smile, now get back to work.
