Today, I took a chance with an investment in a field I have always desired.

I did not invest for a return, but as a bet on how I think the future will be shaped.

I used to wonder how people got research grants for the most ridiculous research. I am now funding one.

Nobody knows the future, yet some people shape it.

I prefer to be a shaper.

I am thankful for shapers of the past that built our present reality.
