Today, I got a call from a friend to discuss some ideas he was working on.

One beautiful thing about those I call friends is that they never put me in an uncomfortable situation.

By uncomfortable situation, I mean situations where I have to choose between our friendship and my values.

Part of the insight he wanted was proprietary, and I told him so. He immediately switched to other more generic parts of his idea that needed sharpening.

I am thankful for friends with shared values.
