Worry

It is obvious that worrying solves nothing.

It is draining, yet it offers a feeling that humans sorely need. A feeling of control.

So, in spite of our better judgment, no one escapes worrying if they care.

Advice such as “Stop worrying” is common, but no one heeds it. Until the object of worry is addressed, all advice on worrying reinforces worrying.

Worrying adds nothing of value, but it is a siamese twin of care. If you care for anything, worry will tag along as a bonus.
