The voice that reads to me while I am reading is different from my speaking voice.

I do not know how to explain it, but my speaking voice seems to not be uniquely mine. I can recognise it in others.

However, my reading voice is uniquely mine. I have never heard its tone from any other.

This is partly why I love to read. I love listening to the voice that is uniquely mine.
