The mind is a great storyteller.
Moulded over generations by pleasure and pain, it can re-enact both through stories.
However, the imprints of pain is more lasting on the mind than pleasure, so it is biased to telling its stories, tricking us that it is to protect us, when really it is to chain us.
The stories we tell ourselves are always plagued by self-limiting what-ifs because we feel undeserving of self-actualizing what-ifs.
The stories we tell ourselves become self-fulfilling.
The mind chooses the story it wants to tell. You can choose the story you want to fulfil.
The story you continually choose becomes the story your mind starts telling.
