Every breakdown of equipment is preceded by physical signs that can be picked by any of the 5 basic senses to prevent it.

When anything breaks down in my space, it is evidence that I was not paying attention to it.

However, light bulbs are different. They can just stop working without prewarning. The problem is when I try to approach a light bulb failure like every other piece of equipment and beat myself up for not paying attention to the warning signs.

Most times, with a light bulb, the action that is required is to just change the bulb. If anything outside the bulb is the cause of it to stop working, you can not know until you change the bulb.

The issue when it comes to a light bulb is when I do not have a spare. Not having a spare for anything that offers no prewarning before it breaks down is evidence of not paying attention.

Life is filled with equipment that helps to build relationships, and light bulbs are the hobbies that light up our hearts.
