Mark 8:22-26
And they came to Beth-sa’ida. And some people brought to him a blind man, and begged him to touch him.
And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the village; and when he had spit on his eyes and laid his hands upon him, he asked him, “Do you see anything?”
And he looked up and said, “I see men; but they look like trees, walking.”
Then again he laid his hands upon his eyes; and he looked intently and was restored, and saw everything clearly.
And he sent him away to his home, saying, “Do not even enter the village.”

7 questions come to mind from this passage.

Why were those that brought the blind man begging Jesus to touch him, but there was no mention of the blind man asking for healing?

When he took the blind man by the hand (aka touched him), how come healing did not occur immediately?

Why did Jesus lead the blind man out of the village before healing him?

How come after spitting on his eyes and laying hands on the blind man, he still could not see clearly?

Why did Jesus have to lay hands again (a second time), this time on his eyes?

Why did the blind man have to look intently before full restoration of sight?

Why did Jesus instruct him not to enter the village after his healing?

Dear Lord, give me understanding.
