I just got back to Nigeria, to a house I have occupied for more than a year, yet it feels small, cold, dusty and empty. The house is a fully furnished 4 bedroom duplex with 24 hrs utilities and a steward.
I was in France for the last 3 weeks, sharing new experiences with my wife. I had never been to that country before. It was amazing, even though I did not really go out much. Our home felt large, warm, clean and full. It was a 2 bedroom apartment and just the two of us.
I am one of those that has never given serious thought to living outside Nigeria, save for work commitments. But since my wife relocated, this place has become uncomfortable and an unfamiliar land now holds my comfort.
